Team Leader Inbound Logistics / Goods Receiving

In this role as Team Leader Inbound Logistics, you are the key point of contact for the Receiving department. You oversee the entire inbound process, tackle issues proactively, and ensure that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. In addition, you coach your team, continuously improve workflows, and help your colleagues perform at their best.

With your leadership, hands on approach, and process insight, you increase your team's impact and directly contribute to the growth and innovation of Active Ants. Together, you ensure a well organised, smoothly running warehouse where everyone can work professionally and stay motivated.

• Managing and coaching 35-40 employees and assistant team leaders.
• Planning and distributing work and ensuring efficient workflow.
• Conducting performance, progress and absence interviews.
• Monitoring performance and setting clear goals for the team.
• Identifying and implementing areas for improvement in processes.
• Ensuring a safe, organised and professional working environment.
• MBO+ or HBO level of education (Dutch vocational or higher professional education)
• Proven experience in leading teams in a logistics environment
• Proficient with computers and order processing systems
• Strong communication skills, decisive and reliable
• Positive, results driven, and collaborative attitude
• Willingness to work in shifts
• A challenging managerial position within an innovative and fast growing company.
• Working week: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday or Sunday shifts during busy periods.
• Salary based on 40 hours per week.
• Temporary position with the possibility of permanent employment, including a pension plan and 27 days of vacation for full time employees
• Travel allowance of £0.21 per kilometre - even if you cycle to work. Up to 25 kilometres one way (50 kilometres return) reimbursed.

Over Active Ants

Active Ants is a fast growing e fulfilment company with its head office in Vianen. In our warehouses, we manage stock for various online shops, dispatch their orders and process returns. We have mechanised a large part of our order process using our Autostore storage and order picking system and fully automatic packing machines, and goods are transported through our warehouse via fully automatic roller conveyors or robots. This makes our e fulfilment services sustainable and reduces our footprint.

We currently have warehouses in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and England and look forward to conquering more countries in Europe with our E Fulfilment concept.
