WithYou is a leading charity supporting people with drug, alcohol, and mental health challenges across England and Scotland, providing free and confidential support to more than 100,000 people each year. Rotherham Alcohol and Drug Service (provided by WithYou) offers free and confidential services to adults and young people facing drug and alcohol challenges.

Main duties of the job

As a Team Leader we offer a starting salary of £30,000, rising each year in line with our pay progression salary bands, to £36,000 per year. This full time, fixed term position lasts until March 2027, with some Saturday working potentially required.

  • Support the management team in the delivery of the contracted service, leading on an area of specialism.
  • Positively promote the service and WithYou to external stakeholders.
  • Manage staff to ensure they are well informed, inspired, and engaged with WithYou's strategic objectives.
  • Lead on effective partnership working, care coordination, key work responsibilities and intervention delivery.
  • Develop open working relationships so staff operate in line with our values and collaborate with internal colleagues and external partner organisations.
Responsibilities

This is a frontline role that provides continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, and intervention delivery, ensuring compliance with our values and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential skills and experience
  • Demonstrable experience working in the health, social care, or criminal justice setting and partnering with statutory and non statutory agencies.
  • Successful track record of management responsibility and development of others.
  • Experience developing relationships and engaging with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Confidence with IT and data analysis.
  • Understanding of the criminal justice system and experience in the related service environment is desirable.
Qualifications

Relevant qualifications for health, social care, or criminal justice settings are preferred but not mandatory.
