This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a DPS Team Leader in SSC Outbound, D82 at Nottingham, playing an important role within the logistics operation. We are looking for a permanent PM Team Leader (37.5 hours per week).
You will report to the Warehouse Leadership Team and work collaboratively across departments to ensure efficient operations.
Key responsibilitiesWe're looking for someone, who by example and guide positive change will have an impact on the operation.
So, what are we looking for in the role:
- Customer focus that makes sure that we deliver the right products to the right place at the right time, achieved through accurate receiving, packing and dispatching of stock at pace.
- Create a positive 'can do' culture.
- Preempt any problems and take the appropriate action to deal with them.
- Lead and motivate a team of team members.
- Maximise individuals' performance through coaching.
- Ensure that team members meet performance standards for quality, performance, and attendance.
- Deliver budgeted productivity rates and indirect hours.
- Ensure the team are kept engaged through communication and the delivery of team briefings.
- Collate data for your team on agreed Indicators.
- Ensure operational compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Health & Safety, security, product safety, maintenance, cleaning.
- Ensure that workflow is consistent during break times.
- Maintain a handover from the off-going shift and the preparation and delivery of pre-shift briefings
- You will have experience leading and motivating an operational team.
- You can demonstrate that you have developed yourself as well as other team members.
- You have managed performance and achieved fantastic results.
- You can lead and motivate a team.
- You can look and think ahead rather than ignoring problems.
- You own issues and don't leave them for others to resolve, working well with a team of leaders.
- You are results and service driven.
- You are an ambassador for the warehouse
- Previous experience in warehouse/logistics operations, knowledge of health and safety regulations, familiarity with inventory systems, and experience managing Indicators. While not essential, these skills will help you excel in the role.
