Team Leader - Lurgan

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, Praxis Care, for a Team Leader required to work within a supported living service in
Lurgan, supporting 19 male residents with forensic learning disabilities.

This is a temporary position for an initial period of three months, with the possibility of extension. The role involves working
39 hours per week over 3 or 4 days, consisting of 12-13 hour shifts, offering a rate of £15.50 per hour.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the service, providing effective leadership and
guidance to support staff while ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality and person-centred care. You will support the
management team, promote residents' independence and wellbeing, and ensure that dignity, respect and choice remain
central to service delivery.

Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role within health and social care would be advantageous. A QCF
Level 3 or Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care or Leadership and Management would also be beneficial.

What We Need From You:

• Previous experience within a health and social care setting.
• Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities would be advantageous.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to support and motivate a staff team.
• QCF Level 3 or Level 5 in Health and Social Care or Leadership and Management would be beneficial.
• A commitment to delivering person-centred care
