Team Leader

£14.63 per hour

Full time permanent position at 37.5 per week.

Location: SPAR Drumahoe - Unit 4, 66 Glenshane Rd, Derry/Londonderry BT47 3SF

Reporting to the Assistant Manager and/or Store Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team to follow store policies, standards and practices.
• Take responsibility for the store in the absence of other leaders, including keyholder duties.
• Set a positive example for the team and embody the values of Ambition, Customer First, Teamwork and Integrity.
• Train, manage workload and support the team, ensuring resources are aligned to deliver the best customer experience.
• Assist the Store Manager in maximising store performance, implementing the store plan and priorities.
• Promote and participate in community initiatives, such as defibrillator installations and school sports days.
• Cover the Post Office when required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must be aged 18 years or over.
• Previously worked in a retail store with at least six months at a supervisory level leading a customer focused team.
• Excellent listening, interaction and communication skills with customers and team members.
• Target driven with a focus on continuous improvement and achieving business plans and priorities.
• Ability to inspire and motivate the team and customers.

Working Hours

Full time permanent position at 37.5 per week, Monday to Sunday, 6:00 am to 11:00 pm, with flexibility required to cover a variety of shifts including opening at 6:00 am, closing at 11:00 pm and weekends.
