Team Leader - Claims

Overview

Our Claims team processes millions of medical claims from 180 countries. Our team is diverse, with 60 nationalities processing claims in 28 languages. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated People Leader, who will manage a team of Claims Officers dedicated to key client accounts. The ideal candidate will have a background in people and performance management in a multicultural environment. Experience in health insurance is not a requirement. It's more important that you can lead and motivate a team in a business that is growing and changing rapidly.

This is a temporary role - 1 year.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of Claims Officers in our Dublin office
• Drive team and individual performance
• Ensure adequate staffing to meet demand
• Supply direction and insights to exceed service level goals
• Coach, mentor and remove roadblocks for your team
• Communicate to management on performance, challenges and opportunities to improve
• Proactively drive improvements and great customer service.
• Lead initiatives to drive employee engagement and development
• Advocate an atmosphere of open, honest communication
• Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data, analytics and cloud-based tools, using insights responsibly with our standards of data governance, security and ethical use.

Key Requirements

• 5 years' experience in a people leadership role
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced global environment
• A second language is an advantage (German, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French)
• Ability to work independently, prioritise and meet deadlines
• Ability to motivate a team and to lead by example
• Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Degree or equivalent is desirable
