Team Leader - Children's Homes

Position Overview

Team Leaders in our Children's Homes support the day to day care of young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, ensuring smooth operation of the home and inspiring staff towards high standards. salary range £39,680 - £46,944, based on good attendance and up to 3 sleep ins per month.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and support to young people, creating lasting memories and positive change.
• Lead and support staff teams, maintaining high standards and stepping in as Deputy to the Registered and Deputy Managers.
• Build relationships with young people, demonstrating compassion, emotional resilience and supportive leadership.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Level 3 Children's Residential Care qualification (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• A "can do" attitude, teamwork, honesty, empathy and resilience to challenging situations are essential.
• Participation in the 4 week Care Academy induction programme to build confidence and competence.

• Base salary £35,400 - £42,664, adjusted by attendance allowance up to £1,400 per year.
