OverviewWe're growing our Home Energy Advice Team (HEAT) in the Northwest and looking for a hands-on Team Lead to mentor, support and performance-manage a team delivering practical energy advice and advocacy for households in (and around) Greater Preston. You'll provide day-to-day leadership, ensure quality and safeguarding standards, and build strong partnerships that keep referrals flowing and outcomes high.
What you'll lead- People & performance: Recruit, onboard and mentor; run 1:1s; set outcomes; manage caseload balance, leave; celebrate success and deliver performance targets.
- Service delivery: Ensure high-quality, independent energy advice with community delivery supported by phone/video follow-up.
- Partnerships & referrals: Maintain relationships; support outreach; drive referral volume/quality and conversion to outcomes.
- Safeguarding, lone working & H&S: Model safe practice; complete dynamic risk assessments; escalate concerns and record accurately.
- Data, quality & reporting: Own CRM data, MI dashboards and case audits; hit KPIs.
- Continuous improvement: Gather insights from customers/partners.
- Proven team leadership.
- Strong mentoring/coaching skills and a values-led style that builds trust and accountability.
- Organised and data-savvy -confident with CRM, Microsoft 365 and reporting.
- Partnership builder -able to influence stakeholders and unlock joint working.
- Regular travel across Lancashire/Northwest.
