Team Administrator

We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a full-time Team Administrator to join our Community Mental Health Team, supporting Wellingborough & East Northants CMHT.

Your role:

As a Team Administrator, you will work closely with nursing staff and the wider multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality, effective administrative support. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of services and supporting the delivery of compassionate, patient-focused care.

Main duties of the job
  • You will have a solid knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • You will demonstrate an enthusiasm for professional development, showing motivation to further your skills and understanding through a variety of training opportunities.

Person Specification Experience
  • Experience of working in a patient facing admin role
  • Confident in Microsoft Office programmes, including Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Experience with taking minutes
  • Ability to work within a fast paced team/environment
  • Ability to respond to potentially challenging situations
  • Ability to deal sensitively with service users, carers and colleagues and maintain confidentiality and exercise judgement when dealing with sensitive issues
Knowledge
  • Previous experience/knowledge of using electronic patient record systems (SystmOne)
  • Flexible approach to the changing daily needs of the service
  • Educated to GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • Experience working with those experiencing Mental Health difficulties
  • Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team
