Job Description

We are looking for dynamic individuals dedicated to helping students succeed! We have two (2) Learning Support Teaching Assistant positions available at Hanover Street Elementary. The positions provide academic support to students under the direction of a teacher and perform a variety of clerical support functions. Both are school-year, part-time, 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 5.75 hours per day. Pay rate is at least $13.52 per hour minimum. Offered rate is based on experience and internal equity.

Qualifications

Must meet Highly Qualified Status with two years of post-secondary education OR high school diploma/equivalent and satisfactory completion of a Competency test, which can be taken after hire. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills. Must be cooperative, congenial and service-oriented. Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks.
