Teaching Assistants - Secondary Schools (Stockport)

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in a range of secondary schools across Stockport and the surrounding areas.
These roles involve supporting students on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups, including those with SEN needs. You will play a key role in helping students stay engaged, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
The Role:- Supporting students in the classroom on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Assisting pupils with additional needs, including SEN
- Promoting positive behaviour and supporting classroom management
- Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support student progress
- Encouraging engagement, confidence, and independence in learning
- Experience working with young people (e.g. youth work, coaching, mentoring, or similar)
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A proactive, patient, and supportive approach
- Flexibility to travel across Stockport and surrounding areas
- A genuine passion for supporting young people in education
- Competitive daily rate of £90-£110 per day
- Full-time, long-term opportunities starting in May and September
- Potential for permanent positions within schools
