Role: Teaching AssistantLocation: Pensby (CH61)Start Date: ASAPWe offer both day to day and long term supply.

We are on the outlook for dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our local high schools in Pensby and surrounding areas of Wirral.

If you have experience working with children in any setting-whether that's schools, colleges, sports coaching, youth work, drama clubs, or even tutoring-we would love to speak to you!

Must Haves:

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
• Must have the Right to Work in the UK.

Key Duties:

• Supporting the subject teacher to ensure lessons run smoothly and students stay on task.
• Helping students understand instructions and complete their classwork across different subjects.
• Working with small groups of pupils to improve their confidence in core subjects.
• Assisting with classroom management to create a positive learning environment.
• Helping with administrative tasks like preparing resources or organising displays.
• Acting as a positive role model and helping students stay motivated throughout the day.
• Encouraging students to participate in class discussions and peer activities.
