Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? Ysgol Gynradd Gymunedol Llanilar is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level2 Teaching Assistant to join the team from 01/09/2026. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to pupils, including those with additional needs, helping them access learning and build confidence.
• Work with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities.
• Support the development of Individual Education and Behaviour Plans.
• Promote inclusion, independence, and positive behaviour.
• Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and wider school activities.

Qualifications

• Fluency in both Welsh and English.
• Experience of working with or caring for children.
• Relevant qualifications (NVQ3 or equivalent) and good literacy/numeracy skills.
• Ability to use ICT effectively to support learning.
• Positive, flexible, and able to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
• Understanding of safeguarding, inclusion, and teamwork.

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS check required. A Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required.
