We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils and teachers in a friendly and inclusive school in Harpenden. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom by supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing.

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
• Work with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning
• Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation
• Provide additional support for pupils with varying needs
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Support behaviour management in line with school policies
• Assist with playground duties and school activities where required

Experience

• Previous experience working in a school or with children - desirable
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND - advantageous
• Suitable for both experienced TAs and those looking to gain classroom experience

Educational requirements

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
• Safeguarding training (or willingness to undertake training)
