James Brindley is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with experience working with young people with autism and SEMH needs, from KS2 up to GCSE level and beyond. The successful candidate should be capable of supporting individual students or small groups, implementing behavior management strategies consistently and effectively, and assisting in a classroom environment. A good standard of education, including Math and English GCSE at C (or equivalent), and NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent, is essential.

About James BrindleyJames Brindley is an academy with locations across the City of Birmingham, educating over 3,000 young people during the school year. Our students may have complex medical needs or have been out of education for extended periods. We offer a full-time curriculum from EYFS to KS5, aiming to help students 'close the gap' and exceed expected progress during their time with us.
