A welcoming and supportive primary school in Bootle is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible on a full-time, long-term basis.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and structured lessons
• Providing 1:1 and small-group intervention support
• Assisting with behaviour management and pupil wellbeing
• Helping to maintain a positive, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment

Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant (essential)
• Strong understanding of primary education and support strategies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A flexible, proactive and supportive attitude
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
