Teaching Assistant & MDSA (Little Horsted C of E Primary School)

Hours of work: 32.5 per week. Working pattern: Full time, term time only (39 weeks per year plus 5.85 weeks annual leave). As the position is term time only, the above salary will be pro rata.

Location: Little Horsted CE Primary School, Little Horsted, Uckfield, TN22 5TS.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils through individual, small group, and class based interventions.
• Provide classroom support to staff.
• Cover lunchtime duty as a Midday Supervisory Assistant.

Qualifications and experience

• Good knowledge of the KS1 & KS2 curriculum and experience working with children within that age range, or a newly qualified Level 3 or higher candidate.
• Level 3 qualification or above, or relevant experience.
• Good working knowledge of child protection, safeguarding procedures and policies.
