Teaching Assistant

We're currently recruiting for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join schools in Melton Mowbray, with opportunities available for an ASAP start.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting pupils with their learning, confidence and development. You'll work alongside teachers and other support staff to create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils in the classroom and during activities
• Working with individuals and small groups to support learning
• Helping pupils stay engaged, focused and confident
• Providing support with classroom activities and resources
• Encouraging positive behaviour and building strong relationships
• Working closely with teachers and the wider school team

• Have experience working with children or young people
• Are passionate about education and helping children succeed
• Are patient, caring and enthusiastic
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Are reliable, adaptable and proactive
• Have a genuine desire to make a difference

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable, but not essential - transferable experience and the right attitude are highly valued.
