This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator or an aspiring teacher looking to gain invaluable classroom experience within Key Stage 2.

Position: Full-Time Teaching Assistant (Year 3)

Location: Leigh

Start Date: September

Pay Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging daily lessons.
• Working with small groups and providing 1-to-1 targeted intervention in core subjects (Literacy and Numeracy).
• Fostering an inclusive, safe, and positive learning environment for all students.
• Tracking student progress and assisting with classroom management.

What We Are Looking For

• minimum level 2 teaching assistant qualification
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills to confidently support Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• A warm, firm, and encouraging approach to behaviour management.
• A team player who can collaborate effectively with teachers and support staff.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for a new one).
• 2 professional references
• Legal right to work in the UK
