High View School have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, dedicated and creative Teaching Assistant, to join our outstanding team and make a difference in children's lives. The successful Teaching Assistant will be enthusiastic, a good team player and committed to supporting the learning of pupils.
The successful Teaching Assistant will be committed to supporting pupils' learning and to help pupils surpass their expectations. High View School are seeking candidates that will go the extra mile for our children and the community.
We are looking for Teaching Assistants who:- Have experience of working within a primary school or early years setting
- Can build relationships with and nurture pupils to enable positive educational outcomes
- Experience implementing positive behaviour strategies
- GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English grade C/4 or above
- Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to working
- NVQ2/3 or equivalent or working towards the qualification is desirable
High View School is an outstanding primary school (Ofsted, November 2024), which is highly-regarded on a national scale and at the heart of our local community. We are a 1.5 form entry school, with around 350 pupils (which includes our dedicated nursery provision), and we benefit from working in a first-class learning environment, including a purpose-built school building and a range of exceptional outside play and learning environments.
