Teaching Assistant

About the Role

We're looking for someone with plenty of energy and enthusiasm to support the educational and care needs of the children attending our Virginia Water site, all of whom have autism and/or complex social and communication needs.

Job Details

• Salary: LSEAT Harmonised 13 £17,768 (equivalent £25,172 FTE)
• Hours: 31 hours per week, 38 weeks per year
• Core hours: Mon-Fri 8.40 am-3.20 pm ( additional minutes each week)
• Start date: September 2026
• Application closing date: Tuesday 1st September 2026 at 09.00am
• Interview date: Tuesday 8th September 2026 at 10.30am

Responsibilities

• Support the educational and care needs of pupils with autism and/or complex social and communication needs.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalised provision.
• Assist in maintaining a calm, supportive and structured environment for pupils.
• Participate in collaborative reflection and continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• School experience, graduates, school leavers or those looking for a career change.
• Full training offered by the Trust.
• Enthusiastic, energetic and committed to supporting pupils with learning difficulties.
