Teaching Assistant
September 2026 to July 2027
£85 - £101 per day
'Outstanding' primary school, Central Wolverhampton
1:1, small group and general classroom support

The Role:
Provide day-to-day classroom support through a mixture of 1:1 help, small-group intervention, and general classroom assistance. You will help pupils stay engaged, reinforce learning in core subjects, support class routines, prepare simple resources, and work closely with the class teacher to support steady academic progress across the school day.

The Candidate:
You are adaptable, encouraging, and able to explain ideas clearly to primary-aged pupils. You want meaningful school-based experience, enjoy helping children grow in confidence, and are keen to play a practical role in supporting learning and classroom routines.

Requirements
• Degree - A 2:2 or above in a creative subject.
• Communication - Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS - Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Desire to work in education/with children - Genuine interest in supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Career Goals - A desire to train as a teacher and build a long-term career in education.
