Teaching Assistant

Full time Teaching Assistant needed from January for a 6-week role at a supportive Primary School in Wolverhampton. This Teaching Assistant position is ideal for someone with an EYFS qualification who is confident working across Nursery and Reception. The school is Ofsted rated Good and is well known for its nurturing environment, strong community values, and positive behaviour culture. Job Role

• Provide general classroom support across EYFS, including Nursery and Reception.
• Work closely with the Class Teacher to deliver engaging early years activities.
• Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups to aid learning and development.
• Encourage communication, independence, and creativity in young learners.
• Help maintain a safe, stimulating and well organised learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.

Required Skills and Experience

• EYFS qualification is essential.
• Previous UK school experience is essential.
• Experience supporting Reception, EYFS, Nursery, Primary School, KS1 or KS2.
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum and early childhood development.
• Ability to work closely with the Class Teacher, SEN team, and wider staff.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a healthy work life balance.
• Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3.
• Experience working as a TA in early years or Primary School settings.

• £88.92 to £106.93 per day, which equates to £17,339.40 to £20,851.36 per annum based on working 5 days per week for a full school year
