Teaching Assistant

Job Overview

Axcis Education is working with a special educational needs school in Warwickshire, catering for all age groups (3 19). The role is full time and the school is looking for a SEND teaching assistant with experience working with students with additional needs, especially those with autism and MLD. Some pupils may display challenging behaviours and will also require personal care.

Responsibilities

Support students during full time school hours (08:30 am - 03:30 pm, Monday Friday). Assist with classroom and individual support plans, manage challenging behaviours, and provide personal care where required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children who have additional needs, particularly autism and MLD.
• Proven ability to support pupils with challenging behaviours and personal care requirements.
• Willingness to work full time in a special educational needs setting.

Pay

£93 per day, upwards.
