Teaching Assistant (Lewisham) - Daily Supply & Long Term - Primary Schools

Teaching Assistants are needed across two welcoming Primary School sites in Lewisham for both daily supply and ongoing long-term opportunities. As a Teaching Assistant, you will support children across EYFS-KS2, delivering high-quality assistance to pupils with a range of learning, behavioural and SEND needs.

These schools are particularly keen to meet Psychology Graduates who are eager to put theory into practice, but experienced Teaching Assistants are equally encouraged to apply. The schools have supportive SLTs and excellent training pathways for the right Teaching Assistant.

Teaching Assistant role includes:

• Work across both Lewisham and Greenwich primary sites
• Support children in EYFS-KS2
• Offering 1:1 and small-group intervention support
• Assist class teachers with behaviour, learning and emotional regulation
• Providing consistency and stability for pupils who need reliable adults

Requirements for the Teaching Assistant:

• Previous school experience OR a relevant degree (Psychology preferred)
• Strong communication, resilience and enthusiasm
• Willingness to work flexibly across both school sites
• DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply
