Overview

The Central Square School District is accepting applications for Teaching Assistant positions across various schools.

Substitute Teaching Assistants

• On-call basis for any of our six school buildings.
• Certification not required.
• Subject to fingerprinting requirements.
• Pay: $18.00 per hour.

Long-Term Substitute Teaching Assistants

1 - Hastings-Mallory Elementary: From November 6, 2025 for approximately 6 weeks. Requires NYS Teaching Assistant Certification. 6.5 hours per day, Monday-Friday. Pay: $18.00 first 30 days, increase to $19.98 thereafter.

2 - PV Moore High School: From January 5, 2026 - April 19, 2026. Requires NYS Teaching Assistant Certification. 6.5 hours per day, Monday-Friday. Pay: $18.00 first 30 days, increase to $19.98 thereafter.
