Teaching Assistant

We are delighted to advertise the post of Teaching Assistant here at Aran Hall School. The vacancy has arisen as we are steadily expanding our team and Education provision for Day and Residential pupils.

This is a term-time post in a nurturing, purposeful environment for young people with learning, support and behavioural needs.

We are seeking a classroom assistant who will:

• Be highly motivated, hardworking and flexible
• Work in partnership with colleagues and pupils
• Be eager to develop their knowledge and skills (with an interest in further developing such skills)
• Be able to communicate clearly with staff and young people in English and, ideally, Welsh
• Be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students.

We are committed to safeguarding those in our care; the successful candidate will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS check and will be subject to thorough background checks including online searches.
