Extended School Support - Teaching Assistant - Cannock - Required Immediately!

We are recruiting for a reliable and flexible Teaching Assistant to assist a school with their Wrap-Around Care in both the mornings and afternoons.

The thriving school in the heart of Cannock are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join their highly successful school-led Wrap-Around Care provision. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils in a nurturing, engaging and stimulating environment that extends learning for pupils beyond the classroom. You'll work alongside a lovely, dedicated team under the direction of the Wrap-Around Care Manager. You'll help to plan and deliver enriching activities; from energising morning sessions to calm, purposeful afternoons, you will help create a safe and inspiring space where every child feels valued.

Expected Hours are: Monday - Friday.

7:30am - 8:45am / 3:15pm - 6:00pm. It is recommended that you live very locally to Cannock to avoid a long commute to and from work.

The Role Includes:

• Working for a reputable education agency - Academics Ltd.
• Working collaboratively with staff to assist in the day-to-day running of the Wrap-Around Care.
• Long term cover opportunity to cover a minimum of 1 month, with the potential of being extended dependant on the school needs.
• Supporting the Wrap-Around Care Manager, to create and promote stimulating and exciting activities for the children on a daily basis.
• To be confident in supporting pupils with SEN needs where necessary.
• The ability to create great relationships with parents as you will be the face of drop-offs and pick-up's.

We are looking for someone who:

• Must have experience working with children in a primary classroom setting.
• NVQ Level 2 or above qualification.
• Is passionate and committed to providing the best support to pupils within your Wrap-Around Care
• The ability to support SEN pupils when needed .
• Must have an Enhanced DBS.
• Able to work the work pattern listed above.
• Must live locally to Cannock in order to commute to and from school.
• Available to start ASAP.
• Fully registered to work with Academics.

Pay: £14 an hour.
