The Role:

• Full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant position with the opportunity to go permanent
• Competitive daily rate of £100-£115
• Supporting learners in small groups and on a 1:1 basis within the Pupil Referral Unit
• Assisting teachers in delivering tailored lessons across the curriculum, including GCSE and Functional Skills
• Helping pupils in High Wycombe re-engage with education through consistent structure, encouragement and behaviour management strategies

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a youth work/support role, care or residential background
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to de-escalate challenging situations
• A calm, resilient and adaptable approach to working with learners who may be disengaged from mainstream education
• Passionate about supporting young people with SEMH needs and challenging behaviours in High Wycombe
• Eager to learn and grow within a specialist Pupil Referral Unit setting
