Teaching Assistant - Year 3 (1:1 SEND Support)

A supportive and inclusive primary school in Camden is seeking a committed and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team and provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil in Year 3.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with a child with ASD and ADHD, providing tailored academic, behavioural and emotional support within the classroom environment.

The Role

• Provide consistent 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD and ADHD
• Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs
• Implement strategies to support focus, engagement and emotional regulation
• Support positive behaviour and social development
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised support plans
• Help create a structured, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Strong experience supporting children with SEND, particularly ASD and ADHD
• A solid background in supporting pupils with SEMH needs
• The ability to build positive, trusting relationships
• Patience, resilience and a calm, consistent approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
