As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide high-quality classroom support, helping children build confidence, develop independence, and achieve their full potential in a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils
• Assist children with additional educational needs and personalised learning approaches
• Encourage pupils' confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for learning
• Support positive behaviour strategies and classroom routines
• Help prepare resources and support classroom organisation
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Work effectively with teachers, support staff, and families to support pupil progress

About You

The ideal candidate will be:

• Passionate about helping children learn and develop
• Patient, caring, and supportive in their approach
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable
• A strong communicator with excellent teamwork skills
• Previous experience in a school, childcare, or educational support role is desirable but not essential
