Teaching Assistant - Secondary

Job Overview

Proactive, friendly teaching assistant to work in a SEN resource base supporting children with Autism at one of Swindon's top secondary schools.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support to children with Autism in the SEN resource base.
• Assist teachers and staff in delivering tailored learning activities.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment.

Requirements

• Enthusiastic about all things SEN.
• Confident and fearless.
• Excellent communication skills.
• DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Previous experience working with children with Autism preferred.

Working Hours

08:30 to 15:30, Monday to Friday during term times.
