I am currently looking for Graduate Teaching Assistants to work in a secondary school in Tower Hamlets, East London. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who are aspiring teachers and want to build meaningful school-based experience while supporting students in the classroom.

The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students across lessons, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment. You may support individuals or small groups of students, helping them to stay focused, understand lesson content, and build confidence in their learning.

This role is ideal preparation for teacher training and will provide valuable insight into the day-to-day life of a secondary school.

Candidate Requirements

• A degree in any subject
• Some experience working with young people (this can be voluntary, coaching, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, or similar)
• A genuine interest in education and potentially becoming a teacher
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• A proactive and reliable approach
