Teaching Assistant - Preston

About the role:

Justteachers is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant specialist SEND school in the Preston area on a long term basis.
The full time post is due to start in April 2026, with shortlisting currently taking place.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils with a variety of SEND needs in both classroom and 1:1 settings
• Assisting teachers in delivering differentiated and accessible learning activities
• Promoting positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and engagement

Pre requisites:

• Relevant qualifications or experience supporting pupils with SEND
• Proven experience working in an educational, care or support setting
• Strong knowledge of SEND strategies, behaviour support and inclusive practice
• Two education or school based references
