Teaching Assistant - Classroom & Intervention Support

Protocol Education is recruiting a full-time Teaching Assistant to support across a KS2 classroom in Gateshead, with a focus on interventions and small group work.

You'll work closely with the class teacher to deliver targeted support, helping pupils who may need extra guidance.

• Running small group interventions in reading and maths
• Supporting pupils who need additional help to stay on track
• Reinforcing learning during whole class lessons
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
• Helping pupils develop confidence and independence

• A confident and supportive individual
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for education

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30am - 3:30pm
• Full time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
