Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Alternative Provision
GSL Education are seeking full-time Teaching Assistants to support pupils within an Alternative Provision in Fulford, York, working across Primary and/or Secondary age groups.
About the SchoolThis specialist alternative provision supports pupils with Behaviour, SEN and SEMH needs. The setting provides a highly structured and supportive environment focused on re engagement, emotional wellbeing and academic progress.
Responsibilities- Support pupils with behaviour, SEN and SEMH needs
- Work across primary and secondary learners
- Provide classroom and 1:1 support
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Support reintegration and progress
- Experience in AP / SEMH / SEN settings preferred
- Calm, resilient and proactive approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
