Job: Teacher of Social Science

School: Secondary Academy, Bexley, Southeast London

Annual Salary:EnhancedMPS/UPS outer London (£36,469 - £54,055 per annum)

Contract:Permanent, full-time or part-time

Start date: September 2025

Aston Education is working with an Ofsted Good 11-18 secondary Academy in Bexley, in Southeast London bordering Kent. They are looking for apermanent full-time or part-time Teacher of Social Science.

The Social Science department is made up of a team of enthusiastic and experienced teachers who are committed to providing high-quality education and inspiring students to have a love of Social Science.

The Social Sciences Department plays a key role in developing critical thinking among the students and you will have the opportunity to teach a diverse student body.

The school is looking for candidates who specialise in Sociology particularly in KS4, and potentially Citizenship. An ability to teach other humanities subjects across KS3 would be advantageous.


They teach RS, PSHE, Citizenship, Sociology, Psychology and Criminology at the school, so you'll have the opportunity to teach a variety of the Social Science subjects in this role.
