Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an innovative, passionate and inspiring Teacher of Performing Arts to join our forward thinking secondary phase. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an established and highly successful team that continues to make a significant impact across the school.

With our brand new school building opening in September 2026, we are entering an exciting new chapter and continuing our journey to become a recognised leading light in specialist education.

We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious and energetic individual who is committed to providing outstanding learning experiences for young people with additional needs. This position is suitable for both experienced teachers and those at the start of their teaching career, including Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Responsibilities
  • Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering creative and engaging Performing Arts lessons that inspire confidence, self expression and achievement.
  • Play a key role in ensuring that learning at Queensway is exciting, inclusive and motivating, enabling students to develop their talents, build their aspirations and strive for excellence.
Qualifications
  • Experience or potential in teaching Performing Arts at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Ability to work with young people with additional needs.
  • Commitment to an inclusive and supportive school community.
