Job Description

Job Title: Teacher of Science

We are seeking a Teacher of Science who can design, plan, and deliver high quality and engaging learning experiences for all students. The successful candidate will ensure that progression is at the heart of every lesson, helping our students build confidence and develop the ambition to think big as they advance through our academy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Have high expectations of learners to ensure they achieve their full educational potential.
  • Set challenging teaching and learning objectives which are relevant to all students in your classes.
  • Select and prepare a range of resources that take into account all students' learning needs, languages and cultural backgrounds.
  • Apply a range of teaching strategies to deliver learning objectives and incorporate inclusive strategies that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals and manage the work of support staff to enhance students' learning.
Pay Range

M1-UPS3: £32,916 - £51,047

Full time, Permanent

Qualifications and Skills
  • Degree in subject specialism.
  • Qualified teacher status or recognised equivalent.
  • Ability to teach 'good or outstanding' lessons.
  • Effective classroom management.
