Start Date: January 2026

Salary: £165.00 to £260.00 (Dependent on MPS/UPS)

Full/Part Time: Full Time

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging Religious Education lessons for secondary school students
• Explore various religious traditions and beliefs while encouraging critical thinking and respect for diverse perspectives
• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with national standards
• Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment within the school community
• Organize and participate in extracurricular activities related to Religious Education

Requirements

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) with a focus on Religious Education or related field
• Passion for teaching and promoting understanding of diverse religious beliefs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students with different learning styles
• Previous experience teaching Religious Education at the secondary school level is desirable
• Commitment to fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect within the school environment
