Job Description
Overview

The successful applicant will teach A level politics and have experience teaching History at GCSE and A level. Experience teaching Politics would be advantageous. This is a part-time role; it is anticipated that the role will involve teaching across 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

Teach A level Politics to the Edexcel A Level Syllabus Route A (USA), covering UK politics, government, core ideologies, and US politics. Contribute to the co-curricular life of the school as required.

Subject Area & Co-curricular Involvement
  • Support co-curricular activities such as Junior Science Club, Faraday Society, Engineering Club, CCF, Community Service.
  • Assist coaching of Hockey, Rowing, Cricket or Football where appropriate.
Working Environment & Benefits

Staff are remunerated through the Kingston Grammar School salary scale, which is above the national scale for teachers.

Qualifications & Experience

Suitable for experienced teachers and ECTs. The role requires ability to teach A level Politics and experience with History at GCSE & A level.
