About the role

justteachers are working in partnership with a welcoming and high achieving sixth form college in Leeds to recruit a Teacher of A Level Media Studies for a long term supply role starting in September.

This role offers flexibility, with full time or part time hours considered, and the opportunity to teach enthusiastic post 16 students in a specialist sixth form setting. This is a long term supply position, with potential to continue for the academic year

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching A Level Media Studies to sixth form students
• Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and creative lessons
• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
• Supporting students with exam preparation and coursework
• Working as part of a supportive and experienced department

Pre-requisites

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience teaching A Level Media Studies (or strong subject knowledge)
• Passionate about media, digital culture, and creative subjects
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Two education or school-based references
