Role - Maths Teacher

Start Date - Easter 2026

Duration - 1 Year

Location - Folkestone

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a range of secondary schools in the Folkestone area who are looking for dynamic and dedicated Maths teachers to join their supportive teams. The roles are full time with a salary of between £32,916 and £51,047 depending on experience - PAYE!

The role:

• Plan and deliver effective Maths lessons to KS3, KS4 and KS5 students
• Set high expectations that inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential
• Attend Departmental meetings and parents' evenings when required
• Create a supporting and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop engaging curriculum and lesson plans

Requirements:

• Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
• Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Maths
• Have the ability to differentiate lessons to ensure the needs of all students are met
• Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
• Legal right to work in the UK
