Job Description

Protocol Education are working with a high-performing secondary school and sixth form in North Somerset to appoint a Teacher of Maths starting in September 2026.

About the Role

As a Teacher of Maths, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that support students in developing confidence and strong mathematical understanding.

You will play an important role in supporting student progress and contributing to a successful and supportive department.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching Maths across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Supporting students to develop strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Planning and delivering well-structured lessons
  • Differentiating teaching to support learners of all abilities
  • Monitoring progress and helping students achieve strong outcomes

There may also be opportunities to contribute to sixth form teaching, depending on experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
