Teacher of Mathematics - Part Time Position

Northease Manor School is looking to recruit a part time Maths Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing school at an exciting time. Personal attributes Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or proven experience

Development

• Honours Degree or other post Level 3 qualification in relevant subject
• Further Professional Qualifications and Training
• Evidence of continuing professional development in your subject(s) area and SEN.

Experience

• Recent successful teaching at KS3 or KS4
• Evidence of being an outstanding teacher
• Evidence of wider commitment to working with students
• Classroom/small group teaching of students with SEN or work within a specialist setting.
• Supporting students with communication and interaction, social, emotional and mental health difficulties.

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to build excellent trusting relationships, providing high levels of structure and nurture
• A secure knowledge and understanding of the concepts and skills essential for success for pupils in your subject.
• A secure understanding of the requirements for Examinations in your subject area
• An understanding of the SEN code of Practice
• An understanding of ASD and possible co morbid diagnoses
• An understanding of dyscalculia.
