This pioneering collaboration brings together one of the world's most influential education groups, Cognita, which educates over 100,000 students across 21 countries, and Alleyn's, south London's finest co educational day school and Co educational School of the Year 2025.
As part of this partnership, North Bridge House Regent's Park Prep and North Bridge House Hampstead are becoming Alleyn's schools. Alleyn's Regent's Park successfully transitioned this September, welcoming pupils aged 4-10. Alleyn's Hampstead will follow in September 2026, offering an exceptional education for pupils aged 2-18 and bringing the distinctive Alleyn's ethos of academic excellence, creativity, and care to north London.
About the RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher of History and Politics to deliver engaging and challenging lessons across the 11-18 age range at Alleyn's Hampstead. The successful candidate will teach up to KS5, fostering a deep understanding of historical events, political systems, and contemporary issues, while supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential. You will play an active role in the wider life of the school, leading and contributing to enrichment activities, trips, and co curricular opportunities. In addition, you will take on the role of Form Tutor, providing high quality pastoral care and guidance, and will work collaboratively to plan and deliver lessons, monitor progress, and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
This is a permanent, full time role with a September 2026 start date.

Who We Are Looking ForWe are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable History and Politics specialist with experience teaching across the 11-18 age range and engaging a diverse range of learners. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree and teaching qualification, and will bring strong subject knowledge along with the ability to inspire students to take a scholarly approach to their studies. You will have experience in curriculum development, including designing schemes of work, and ideally have undertaken a Form Tutor or similar pastoral role. Excellent communication skills, strong classroom and behaviour management, and a commitment to adaptive teaching are essential. We are seeking a collaborative professional who values constructive feedback, works effectively as part of a team, and demonstrates reliability, integrity, and a good sense of humour.
