Overview

We require an enthusiastic, effective and innovative Teacher of French who will teach the subject across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. We offer a broad and flexible curriculum and there is a genuine enthusiasm for MFL amongst the pupils. The department is well led with a proven track record of high achievement GCSE and A Level. It would be highly advantageous if the candidate could teach Spanish too.

Responsibilities

• Teach French across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
• Support students to achieve high attainment at GCSE and A Level.
• Collaborate with the MFL department to deliver a flexible curriculum.
• Engage pupils in classroom and extracurricular activities to foster a passion for MFL.
• Participate in ongoing professional development with the Teaching and Learning Team.

Qualifications

• Strong command of French; knowledge of Spanish an advantage.
• CPD or higher education qualification in MFL preferred.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 3 to 5 is desirable.
• Newly qualified teachers are welcomed.
