Lymm High School is a thriving 11-18 comprehensive school with over 1,950 students, including a successful Sixth Form of around 400 students. Set within 28 acres of beautiful grounds, the school benefits from exceptional facilities, including a swimming pool, leisure complex and our own residential centre in Anglesey.

The English faculty is an excellent and supportive team, with a good blend of experience. The results have gone from strength to strength and have been consistently excellent over the last few years. In addition to English GCSEs we offer both English Language and English Literature at A-Level as well as Media Studies at both GCSE and A-Level.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and reflective teacher of English to join this supportive and successful team. The post would suit both early career teachers and experienced practitioners; we value potential, passion and a commitment to high-quality teaching as much as prior experience. You will be supported to develop as an outstanding classroom practitioner within a friendly and ambitious department.
