Teacher of Biology

Salary: MPS/UPS, LAE Pay Scales includes Inner London weighting

London Academy of Excellence (LAE) is seeking to recruit an ECT or experienced Teacher of Biology to join its exceptional Biology Department.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and delivering inspirational, science focused lessons that meet the individual needs of students.
• Adapting and reassessing lesson plans to ensure all learners can access the curriculum.
• Building positive relationships with students and their families.
• Engaging in pupils' pastoral and personal development, with an additional allowance for those taking significant pastoral duties.

Qualifications and experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (or eligibility to QTS) or experience as a Teacher of Biology.
• Degree qualifications in Biology desirable.
• Demonstrated passion for biology and commitment to providing a first rate education to all students.

Additional requirements:

• Willingness to undergo a pre employment screening, including an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
• Commitment to safeguarding and protecting vulnerable children.
