Job Description

Landywood Primary School is a "Good School" (Ofsted 2022) seeking to appoint an outstanding, highly motivated and committed teacher who will be either an M3 or M4 in September 2026.

Applications are welcome from highly effective and highly motivated Key Stage 1 teachers. The school is keen to recruit and support outstanding teachers who can grow with the school as we continue our exciting journey with even higher expectations for the future. From September, the successful applicant will teach a Year 1 class.

Salary: £15,175 or £16,152

2 days per week.

Term time only.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a highly effective class teacher who can demonstrate the ability to raise children's attainment
  • Will be able to work in a creative, imaginative and inspirational way, consistently delivering outstanding lessons
  • Has experience and a good understanding of teaching phonics
  • Will nurture, inspire and raise aspirations of all children, understanding how they learn best and never gives up on them
  • Will have a commitment to working strategically as part of a team to improve standards of teaching and learning and be willing to engage in the wide range of opportunities we provide for our pupils during the school day and outside of school hours too
  • Will be a positive role model in school
  • Is committed to the principles of inclusion
  • Has high expectations of achievement and behaviour
  • Is committed to fostering excellent relationships between parents, carers and the community.
